Moulu "Leon" Luo is an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona, affiliated with the UA Center for Disparities in Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism. His research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of insulin resistance in the liver, the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and the role of mitochondrial biology in metabolic disorders.
